Refuge Project

The goal of the refuge project is to express your refuges in a piece that consists of a visual representation of yourself. My refuges are music and mountain biking, so I did a scene of me riding my backyard trail with speakers beside the drop-in. I chose to have the figure in a "no-hander" position to express that I am comfortable and having fun within my refuges. I also decided to add a denigration of  myself to show that I am lost in my own refuges. All of this was accomplished through sketches inspired by reference photos, and Adobe Illustrator which can be seen below. [2023]
