Album Cover Project

This was one of my first pieces in my graphic design career within Adobe illustrator. The goal was to showcase your skills and techniques within Adobe Illustrator in order to make an album cover. In this piece I used a gradient as the background, a mesh that I put into perspective, drew outlines of rock-like features, made a mask of a retro sun on an image I made in Procreate for the Ipad, and lastly used three different styles of type. The first style was a repeated gradient along a path that makes a three dimensional word. The second style was a glow / neon sign look. The third style was a retro gradient style with a retro typeface. [2021]
