In order to display all of my work to show my experience, I had to make a portfolio website. I chose to make a website off of Adobe Experience Design (XD), and a plugin called Anima. I compiled all of my projects, organized them, then put everything together according to plan from my sketchbook. I had to make a hero section for the website (the front page) in which I used Adobe After Effects to make a “Ewan Clark” animation to show my face and tell the observer I was a digital artist. I tried my best to keep simplicity in mind and draw all the attention to my work. This plan failed when I had complete the whole design of the website to then covert it to code, because it was too costly. I alternatively tried Figma and Webflow to do the exact same process I had just done, but it did not fit my needs. Lastly I tried Google Sites which checked all the boxes except for animations, which was a compromise I am willing to take in order to save lots of money.
