Music Visual Effects

A friend asked me if I could make video effects for the music he made, and he gave me a few ideas of what he wanted it to look like. I made two different videos for him. 

The first video includes a logo I made for him (in Procreate for the iPad) that fades in at the beginning, and the background of the logo starts to spin. Surrounding the logo is a line that shows video duration (how far along the video is) in a circular formation. Outside of the logo is a circular audio spectrum, along with stars in the background that react to the music. To give the video a theme I used a screen grab from a video game of a city as the background. 

For the second video he wanted a more simplistic approach, so I used a picture of Kanye, and Jay-Z as the background, and in the foreground I used a flat audio spectrum that reacts to the music. 

All work except for the logo in the first video was done with Adobe After Effects. [2022]
